Scene 1
1) Three sentences that give the reader an ominous feeling in scene one are: In the same figure, like the king thats dead. this is said by Bernardo when he some what recognizes the ghost. Tis gone. We do it wrong, being so majestical. To offer it the show of violence, for it is as the air, invulnerable, and our vain blows malicious mockery. This quote is said by Marcellus, who is scared because since what they believe to be is a ghost, they know that they will not be able to fight or scare it off. It was about to speak when the cock crew Barnardo said this, which causes the reader to believe that the ghost has something to tell the guards.
2) During this scene, Hamlet Seniors brother is talking with some people about their preparations for war. The country is preparing for war, because the children of the deceased King of Norway wants revenge against Denmark for killing their King in a fight to the death. Both the king of Denmark and the King of Norway were killed in this fight.
